At night me and some friends painted a tunnel on a remote place for the work Blank Canvas.

On a remote place, near an industrial area, there's a tunnel decorated with old graffitis.

No recent graffitis were added to the pillars. Until now, when half of the pillars were painted with a layer that acts both as a graffiti itself and as a blank canvas for new images.

When an intervention, like Between Object and Intervention, removes living space from some other thing in a destructive way it is being a bitch. It has to work in an other way to make a constructive relation.

Between Object and Intervention is brutally cut in the middle with an axe, giving space to the space behind it.

A boulevard placed in the castle moat at Ringenberg. In the moat there are several families of moorhens.

They were living there; eating sleeping, swimming...

Now there is an extra activity of leisure; gloating and parading on their own boulevard.

So far I've only seen a frog using it...

This public restroom in Radboud Nijmegen has three different stalls. On the door of every stall there is a display installed which counts the number of times that that stall's toilet is used.

For a while now I've been collecting nickels (stuivers, 5 eurocent coins) in the hope they will become scarce and will increase in value.

The thing with money is they basically have two kinds of value systems.

1. The value that is written on it. That's the value a nation has given to it.

2. The product value. Just like milk the nickel can become scarce or plenty, which changes the product value of that kind of product.

Nikita came up to me and said he wanted to do a work together; make a wall, put a painting on it and than let the wall drop.

I thought it just had to happen.

Birdwatching Tower, 2016

Built in a studio where you can frequently spot small birds that enter the space. In this space the tower fulfills a clear goal.

The tower is movable. In July the tower was moved to an exhibition. What did happen with the tower? Did it change as a thing?

On the other hand the one thing tells me other stuff than some other thing.

One day there were 3 little black bird chicks on the floor in my studio. That spring at least two black birds decided to nest inside the building. As often happens in nature; not all of the offspring survives.

The 3 chicks died.

A wall built on a staircase. The wall copied the texture and colour of the wall and was placed in a straight angle with the walking surface of the stairs.

Crowded flower-stands for potatoes that work for electricity. The electricity is used by Garden #3 for lighting.

The procedure used to gain electricity slowly poisons the potatoes in this flower-stand.

Trees which I am not sure about how much I care about them. I want them to look beautiful and ready for spring I guess.

The trees are painted with acrylic paint to give them a fresh, clean look.

One night me and some friends secretly painted two trees with a brownish-fresh colour for the work Garden #2.

The action itself was interesting too; the trees were located on a graffiti-free zone. It was allowed to do some graffiti on the walls there. Does that include the trees too? Do the graffiti-artists respond to this action?
